I'm back to focusing on finishing my novel. Given the full time day job that pays for important little things like electricity and the mortgage, that doesn't leave me much time for much else. I'm still a Browncoat and will be until they scatter my dust, but active merchandising and being in convention dealer's rooms are going to slip to the back burner for a while.
Not much stuff online because I don't have an exceptionally strong dictating reason to unpack stuff, other than to get my car in the garage again. Which means the boxes get relocated into the house and that's about it. Also focusing on my writing in the evening hours, which doesn't leave much time for anything else.
I will be back in January 2007. I still have lots of shiny goods, some never seen by fans before, that will be available. I think there is still an opportunity for fan-made items that support Firefly and Serenity and don't confict with the copyright holders. No t-shirts, obviously, but there will be Really Scary Monkeys that Live in Space. Are you terrified? ^_- So happy holidays, and I hope to meet some of you at Flan II in Burbank in December!

Random Info: For you LOST Browncoats, I just read this morning that Nathan Fillion, our beloved Captain, will be appearing in a ep or two. So, go watch LOST season 1 and LOST season 2 so you understand what's going on. Really, it's worth the hours.
New Layout - it's subtle, but it will make stuff updates *a lot* easier to accomplish. Basically each product page just has the product info, so no more having to update the navigation on all pages when new stuff comes online. Which means the Fan Done Home page is the page to access everything. And I mean non-Browncoat stuff as well. FanGirl is taking on literary asperations and will be promoting her books and writing-related stuff through this website, in addition to all the standard Browncoat goods you've come to expect. New Stuff Policy - Although not all of your expectations may always be met. In order to keep things interesting (and clean up my house a bit), whenever I sell out of an item, that's it. No more re-ordering or re-stocking on my end. I can tell you there are CTSFM wristbands and stickers still available. Not so many packs of SERENITY temporary tattoos, however. And there will only be 100 Really Scary Monkeys That Live In Space created. They will be available at the Dallas Comic Con, and online sometime before or after then.
Okay, now I have to figure out how much shiny stuff I can get in 2 50 lbs. suitcases for the flight to Weekend with the Stars in Las Vegas in 3 days. A Browncoat's work is never done. ^_^;

Had a most wonderful time at the Lonestar Shindig in Houston in conjunction with ApolloCon. Will be getting pics of the table up this weekend, along with some BD pics with his new Feeping Creature buddies. Also, I've decided to stop being a re-seller of the Joss Whedon "Master at Play" DVD. You can still purchase the DVD from the peeps who make it, Creative Screenwriting, and I'll leave the page up so you can always find them. And tell your friends where to find them. And buy a CTSFMe wristband while you're here anyway ... ^_-

Currently working an issue out with the supplier, Creative Screenwriting, who is being very nice about everything. You can purchase the Joss Whedon DVD from their website if you like. 3. Got my "Final Battle Mal" trading card and have put up a scan of it on the Serenity Action Figure Trading Cards page. 4. Only 2 weeks to ApolloCon & the Lonestar Shindig! Looking forward to seeing you there, and I'll have some new shiny goodies that are not on the website.
On a very happy note, I sent in a Nathan Fillion autograph redemption card from the new Firefly Trading Cards set and got the real auto card within 2 weeks! On a collecting note, I found out the Serenity Action Figures came with trading cards. They are very pretty - foil/shiny with different pictures than the normal trading cards. There are 5 action figures: Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds, Final Battle Mal, Jayne Cobb, Mercenary Jayne, and a Reaver. Most are fairly easy to find except for the Final Battle Mal which was apparantly a Previews Exclusive. Anyway, for the uber trading card collector, you may want to check out the toy section of your local comic stores for these things before they are gone.
I can tell you the base set is nice. Full color fronts, different info on the backs, including quotes from all of the eps. Personally, I would have picked me some different quotes, but it's fun to see them there regardless, since the writing is one of my favorite aspects of the show. I've also got extra individual base and special cards to trade, so please contact me if you are interested.
1. I've put up a pre-order page for the Firefly Trading Cards. The actual release has been delayed until the end of May. If you place an order than has other goods, I can ship those out right away, or wait and ship with the cards when they come in. Let me know what you'd like to do in the Comments section of the Shopping Cart, or if I don't see any comments, I'll email and ask. 2. Dallas Comic Con pics are online. Just a directory of them, no fancy album pages, at least not yet. Enjoy, and many thanks to the fellow Browncoats that sent in their shiny goods to fill out the table. 3. Fan Done will be getting a website update in a few weeks, hopefully by the end of this month. Expanding the product lines beyond the 'verse, and making it much easier for me to update stuff so hopefully that kind of thing will happen more often. 4. So go fill out the Firefly Season 2 survey - especially if you are (or know) an 18-35 year old male - the coveted television demographic of most network studios (although they really should check out how much cashy money some of these fan women drop on going to a con to be with the main males of the 'verse ... not that I type with any kind of intimate knowledge of such a subject, nu uh, nope, not me ....)
On the EVENTS side of things, Fan Done will be at Flanvention II! And Fangirl / kestrelsempai will be manning the table in the dealer's room when she isn't standing in line for her photo-op with Captain Mal/Nathan Fillion. ^_^.

Or pick it up locally at an electronics or movie store like Best Buy or Fry's. Buy one for yourself, one for your friends, and 1 or 2 extras to hand out when who ever you lent the FIREFLY DVD box set to comes back wanting more.

Super-shiny-mega-ultra kudoes to Jeni and brother Greg of Shiny Shirts for the incredible banner and table they helped set up and run at Wizard World Texas this last weekend, Nov. 4-6. We also send a very shiny thank you out to Summer Glau who came by and signed our BDPoster, let us take pictures, and gave BD's page a kiss (he's still a little woozy). Con pics, new charms and other jewelry, trading cards, and a comic book guide will be part of the up-coming updates. Also, just got word new stickers are going to the printer, so those will be along sometime in the next 2 weeks, so you'll have lots of shiny stuff to choose from when Christmas shopping for your self/favorite Browncoat. And a final product update: we are now completely sold out of the Black Market Beagles. I've found another place to get them, but they have to be ordered in lots of 80, and I currently don't have the space to keep that many puppies around. Over a year ago, I created a YSB music video based on the character of YoSafBridge from the Firefly TV series. FireFlyFans.net has been hosting it for me, which I truly appreciate. Because some people are having difficulty downloading it, for a limited time (i.e. until my bandwidth runs out), I'm hosting it myself off the same page as my anime music videos. SPOILER WARNING: If you haven't seen the Firefly eps of "Our Mrs. Reynolds" and "Trash", you will want to before watching this mv. I supposed I should also say that it may not be 'work-safe' if looking at the back of a naked woman from the waist up would annoy your boss. Nearing the end of vacation, so hope to have some more content-drived updates later. ^_^ Also, please note we are down to 3 black market beagles. And while I have found another breeder, those little pups come in lots of 80, and currently Fan Done can't take care of that many beagles for the amount of time it would take to get them all adopted. So if you want a black market beagle, this is the time to get one.
European travel is done with, and it's now vacation time. Sorry for the delays in shipping (again), but after I'm back from this one, shipping of shiny stuff should be about 2x a week like back in the good ol' days of early August. ^_^; But, the real reason you're reading this update is to find out that Adam Baldwin / Jayne Cobb / the Hero of Canton will be in Plano, Texas (just north of the Dallas metroplex, a mere 45 minute drive from the internationally accessible Dallas / Fort Worth airport), on October 16th! Many thanks to the Browncoats who purchased them at the June pre-screening in Dallas - you have confirmed that there an interest in these things. Another Fan Done exclusive product now available online are the SERENITY tattoos. Temporary tattoos, that is, but much fun nonetheless. Next update hopefully July 4th, as I have the day off from the day job.
